The Scientific-Practical Center of Medicinal Plants
The Scientific-Practical Center of Medicinal Plants (SPCMP) was founded in 2002, currently occupies a total area of 13 ha, located 4 km north-east of Bardar commune, Ialoveni district. A collection of medicinal plants has been created on this land, which currently includes about 170 plant taxa from 15 pharmacotherapeutic groups. Scientific research is organized and carried out here on the basis of institutional projects financed from the state budget, as well as initiative research at the level of bachelor's thesis of students, residents, master's and doctoral students. At the same time, at the SPCMP, the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the discipline "Pharmacognosy" are practicing their didactic practice, as well as pharmacists, doctors from specialization courses, invited guests at the "Nicolae Testemițanu" SUMPh.
